Needs a quiet case, lots of storage and will add a mouse, kb too and reuse a dvddrive. Light gaming on 32inch 1080p.

Anything I should tell him to change? Only thing I can think is the gfx to a 7870 maybe.

He o ly has 800 max, and willing to push the button this weekend due to the 7.5 off. Is it even worth gettinga noise dDampened case as he doesn't plan on over clocking for a few months, if at all. He is likingthe look of the fiano ppre built as with ssd, 3TB and a msi 660 black edition and a h60 cooler and comes in at 860 Inc vat. Doesn't mind an extra quid or two for it to be all done for him as well. He isn't mad about the case of but it would do

After consideration the budget has been upped and this looks to be the final build, with added sound card. Any thing that should be changed or overlooked?? minus 7.5% will bring it in at £850ish

i know that onboard sound is good these days, only reason sound card is there incase he wants to plug his guitar in and record a few tracks down, or would onboard be more than capable of that?

Would there be any benefit in waiting for Haswell or jump for it now because of the discount? I assume he would have to compromise something to keep it at the same budget
