I'm looking to upgrade a few parts of my [relatively outdated] system. In particular, the CPU and RAM - which would in turn require a new Mobo. No big deal, right? :D

So far, I've managed to price up for under £200 on all three of these things but I feel that I may need some guidance. Looking to use this system for media play and for some of the newer games on the market [such as BoBII:WoV, LotRO] and to boost my experiences in BF2.

CPU: Intel Core Duo E2160

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-965P_DS3

RAM: GeIL 2GB PC6400C5

It would be useful to squeeze a little more out of the CPU, which is why I chose it. I'm led to believe the E2160 is rather good for over-clocking?

It should give you a decent overclock, according to what I hear. the DS3 board is easy to overclock with too, there's a sticky on the forums about it.

I use the DS3P, and got my CPU to around 3ghz on stock volts with very little effort.

I'm sure you'll be happy with that lot, hope it works out :)
