I was driving early this morning, doing 60 in a 40 and didn't notice that a police car was behind me... he was there for about a minute, then I turned left at a roundabout and he went straight on.
My question is, if he was going to do me for speeding, does he need to stop me at the time and give me a ticket, or could I get one in the post in future? The former, I'm fairly sure, but some clarification would be nice
