Hey all, I've got an Operation Flashpoint code to use and I've been told to add it to Steam. Is the procedure Games > Activate a Product on Steam, then enter it with the dashes?

Only I've tried this and it says the key is invalid, the key was supplied by Overclockers and I've been told it's valid, am I doing something wrong?
 
Were you told to "add" it to steam or to "activate" it on steam?

Because as you will know it's possible to add a non steam game after it has been installed on your PC.

Maybe this was what was meant? :)

I was meant to get a game with my graphics card and I've been given the code to add to Steam. I've got no way of installing the game so I can only think this is what they mean.
 
Oh, I see said the blind man.

I got assasins creed with my gfx card but the disc was in the box.

Stupid question but have you looked in the box to see if it's stuck in there maybe.

Other than that only ways I can think of you installing it would be to borrow a disc off a friend or download the iso.

Though, the latter is risky as you don't know if what you are downloading has virus/trojan etc added to it.

And make sure you don't upload if you use a torrent as that's illegal iirc. :P
 
The game disc wasn't included with the graphics card, that's why I've been messaging them :) I'd rather not break the law to install my legal game, I'll contact them, I'm sure they'll sort it out. Thanks for the help guys.
