quick steam question

Hi all,

Ive currently got Steam installed on my C: and would like to put it on my G:, can i just copy the steam file over and change the shortcuts to its new directory?

Or will i have to reinstall Steam? If i have to reinstall steam can i just copy my games over over or do i have to download them all again?

thanks matey, its very rare is even use it but its still managing to push 20gb!!
