Quick Steam Question

Can you have Steam on 2 PC's with all of your games downloaded. Obviously not logged into the net all at the same time. I am building a pretty high powered HTPC but wouldn't mind playing some of the games on the LCD TV in the lounge sometime rather than on my main gaming PC in another room

It will moan at you constantly that you are accessing it from a different computer (ie IP/mac address)

I've never had a problem with that, although I spose a press account is designed for this and as such has no restrictions on multiple users

You can this without a problem unless you login to both at the same time.

Yep its fine. Just when you try to play online I think when switching PCs it will ask you to reenter your password to check

In the terms & promo BS it boasts that you can log into your account from any PC in the World & play on your account, I'd say that makes your Lounge well within range

Like others have said though only 1 person online at any time though or 1 will get kicked.

I use 2 PC's at two seperate locations. I have to re-enter my password when i change location. nothing else
