.....that I can't find a clear answer to on google! I have a retail copy of Just Cause 2 that is connected to my Steam account, as I no longer have a PC its not much use to me so can I give/sell it on or is it no good to anyone else either?

Cheers

So it only useful for putting mugs of tea on? I was hoping there would be some way to un connect it from my account as it wasn't purchased though steam it came from a **** high street store. Gutted.

dont throw it out, just keep it in a safe place just incase the games released for mac, you MIGHT have better luck swapping it over on steam. might never happen and then not be possible either but something ti think about
im assuming you have a mac now due to your sig btw :)

Yeah, just sold the gaming pc today. I'm not that bothered about playing it again as I had finished it up and completed about 80% of the game. I might stick it in a cupboard and bin it in a few years time. Just seems like a bit of a waste not being able to sell it on, I could understand this for a downloaded game from steam but not for a retail copy.

A waste not being able to sell it?

Come on. You've played it, presumably had your money's worth but want some of it back anyway.

It just seems a bit wasteful binning something that is fairly new, still works fine and that someone else might be able to get some use out of. If it were a DVD or something I could at least give it to a charity shop. I might not get any money for it but it least it wouldn't go to waste.
