Just got a R.A.T. 9 wireless mouse. To install it, I take it the easiest way is to unplug the old wireless mouse transmitter and plug the new one in then turn on the rig? Let Win7 find the drivers and it should be good to go?
Cheers.

Yeah, thought that might be a good idea. Had a quick go on the work computer without downloading the software. Windows installed the USB driver and it shows up in devices and device manager but the mouse functions don't activate. Still got the old mouse plugged in though, through cable.
Cheers.

No good on this. Mouse doesn't seem to want to connect to the pc. All drivers etc are there but nothing. On my old mouse there is a 'connect' button underneath but the Rat hasn't got one. Any ideas?

Oh cool. Just turned on the comp this morning and the Mad Catz software just locked up and then crashed my system! Managed to uninstall it and the system is fine now. Guess this is destined to be winging it's way back to the seller. Not impressed Mr RAT!
