Quick Student Finance question

Hi, silly question here,

So I've got my student loan all sorted out, and I have the totals for my loan and Maintenance Grant.

On the website for my college, it says that:
Full-time undergraduate students progressing from a Level 3 course will be entitled to claim a bursary of £500 per year.
Full-time undergraduate students will be entitled to a full Higher Education Maintenance Grant of £750 per year.

Is this Higher Education Maintenance Grant seperate to the Maintenance Grant from the Student Loan Company?

Pretty sure it's the same thing. Although you can get way more than £750 pa, depending on household income.

Yep, some colleges give grants to students with lower income families, at my uni you qualified for it as long as you received some sort of maintenance grant from the SLC

Sounds as if it is something that the college provides rather than SFE, despite the name.

Most FE/HE institutions receive a chunk of money from the government now to give to students in need.
