Quick subwoofer question.

Hey guys, i've got an eltax atomic 10.2 sub with both a sub in and speaker terminals. I've only got a stereo amp though so i'm forced to use the speaker terminals. My question is this:

Do I connect the sub using the low or high frequency? On the back of the sub it says HF but i've heard people suggest using the low frequency.

Also, is it possible to purchase sound cards with dedicated sub out's for a 2.1 speaker configuration?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks man. Wired them up the right way now. Bass sounds a lot more taut and "controlled" and my room dosen't rattle every time i put some music on

One last noob question; what does the phase (0 to 180 degrees) do and how does it affect the sub?
