Quick Temp question?

Just a quickie,

I have got Core Temp running and also SpeedFan.

Core Temp shows my core temperature as 65c

SpeedFan shows 51c

Which one is correct?

Cpu is E4400
MB Asus P5K

I would trust core temp, I think you need to add 15c to speed fan as it under reads
the temps.

My core temp and speed fan show the same temp +/- 1 or 2 degrese depends which one takes new readings 1st.
Same goes for speed fan and PC probe II when taking overal CPU, mobo and system temps.
Does it mean they all under read???

I will use the Temps from Core Temp then.

I know that the Tj max reading used to show 85c on Core Temp, and when i downloaded the latest it now shows 100c, could explain why they are about 15c out.
