Quick tyre / puncture question

Hi all,

Spotted this morning when I pulled into work, ive got a small nail in my tyre. Well it looks more like a wood tack. The head is no more than 2mm diameter.

Got a tyre pressure thingy in my boot so i tested it and its not loosing any pressure.

Do you think I should take it and get it repaired?

Whereabouts in the tyre is it? If it's near the centre, yeah. If it's near the sidewall, no

Its about half way between the centre and sidewall.

You might be lucky then and be able to have it repaired. If it's an old tyre however, it's probably not worth it, just get a new set

They are Goodyear F1s

im cursed with tyres ive had 3 new tyres and 3 punctures within 8 months of having these.

Even tho its not loosing pressure I should still get it repaired?

take it to a garage and let them pull the nail out as the nail could be keeping the pressure in the tyre
