Quick USB installation question

I've got Windows on a USB stick, and have been installing from that all fine on other PCs, but just wondering is it fine to have other files and folders on the USB stick as well as Windows 10 when installing?

Presume it's fine but just wanted to double check.

My dad has a tonne of pictures so need to save them, but only USB stick big enough to hand is the one with Windows on which I'll be using to do the installation.

Normally if you're using a USB drive to install an OS, the software you're creating the image with will format the drive beforehand.

Can't you backup the images to DropBox, GoogleDrive or OneDrive?

yes its fine.

I expect you can add anything to the drive, once it's been made bootable with the OS. I've never tried it though
