No I haven't actually - Is there a guide that I can read up about it? I wouldn't know where to start to flash the firmware on it or use QoS for that matter :p

You'll need to know which DG834 you've got (will say underneath the modem, on the sticker.. I have a V4, but yours could be anything).

That's a guide on how to install the new firmware, but all you really need to know is.. install the firmware, reboot, and enjoy. It adds a lot of features to the basic netgear options and will let you sync a little faster :)
