Quick Vista installation question

I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Since I'm a bit of a gamer, I'm finding that quite a few games aren't running on my system. Since I have 2GB of RAM, I figure there's no point in having the 64-bit OS at this point in time.

I also own the 32 bit version and am thinking of installing it to see the comparison. My question is, how do I go about doing this? I put the 32 bit disc in and it asks me to install windows.

Will I lose all my installed content whilst doing this?

Will I have two OS's intalled (64 bit and 32)? Or does the 32 bit simply repace the 64 bit OS.

The latter would be my hope.

Hey Mutu, if you only have one Hard Drive and one partition, unfortunately it will overwrite your Vista 64bit installation.

If you have one Hard Drive but 2 partition's, so Vista installed on one of those partition's and the other empty for arguments sake, select the empty partition and Vista 32bit Edition will install as normally.

Once it is installed you should get the Dual Boot Menu appear, when it does just select which version you would like to boot in to. :)

I only have one HD at the moment with only one partition. Thats ok tbh, It's only a new build so it's not like I'll be losing a lot data. This is a just a gaming machine at the moment.

Thanks for the help :)
