on my home pc i have vista premium 64 bit my laptop is premium 32 bit can i use my pc vista disk to install 64 bit on the laptop will it work?both keys are genuine

Depends if it's OEM or retail. What license do you have?

Then no you can't legally, but there was a thread recently about the fact you can interchange the keys.

if i install 64bit on the laptop and put in my key on the laptop in surley ms wouldnt bother if it was a 32 or 64 bit os?

OEM licenses are for either 32 or 64 bit. You can not change editions legally without buying another license.
