Quick vista question.

Right i have managed to get hold of a vista disc so now i can get rid of all the bloatware on my laptop.
Installed windows vista home premium and entered the key as it is under my laptop, But its coming up with = this is not sa valid windows vista key..
Anyone know what is going on here? \or how i can fix it ?

If the disc you used was a retail disc then an OEM key (affixed to your laptop) will not work.

You'll have to find an OEM disc I'm afraid.

Hmmm i thought all the versions were on one disc with vista?

They are. However, the OEM disks are slightly different. That's why you can use, for example, a DELL OEM disk to install Windows on ( almost ) any DELL OEM machine, without having to activate or enter a product key.

But surely if i have a Windows vista home premium disc and the same product key it should work ?
