Sorry, straight after I made the thread, I went on google lol.

Was on the phone to microsoft ya see...btw, how do I make my dead xbox 3rlod, so it can be repaired under the 3 year warranty? Towell trick?

Heat it up and cool it down in cycles. Can take ages though.

Nah its dead, but I want the upper right light to be the one thats out, so It can be repaired under the 3 year warranty.

How did it die? Mine had a graphics card problem then eventually got the 3 lights of death from just turning it on one day.

Nah, he said its the bottom left that isnt flashing or the bottom right.

What will happen if they see that its not the top right one thats flashing? Charge us I assume?

My nephew has had a fault with one light on. I told them to lie and say its giving 3 lights. They have picked it up, I said if they query it as now having one, just plead ignorance and say well when I sent it off it had 3.

If they have to pay too much for a repair they will just tell them to poke it and buy another core.

Exactly even if it logs the code I'd still get irrate and say well it had ****ing 3 lights when I sent it to you. Are you trying to rip me off with what we already know is a faulty console.

Nah, you gotta take it one step further:

What do you mean it only has 2 red lights!? It had three when I sent it to you! Knowing how shoddy you lot are I wouldn't be suprised if one of the lights blew up.
