Any downside to getting a European console rather than a UK version?

Is the warranty transferrable to the UK?

Whats the lead like? is it a kettle lead or do I have to just get a 2 pin to 3 pin adapter?

Do you need the original receipt for the warranty? (the console is brand new)

doh nearest 1 on the bay to me is a new Spanish console but he don't have the receipt
