Quick Windows 7 OEM/ Retail question

If I have an OEM Windows 7 Home Premium disc - will it reject a Retail Home Premium licence number?

Or else is there a way to just buy an OEM licence number online (without disc)?

Try it and see! My retail disk accepted my OEM key.

I believe the discs are all the same, and will accept any key.

Perhaps i should have been clearer, retail or OEM from somewhere like OCUK are the same disc, but discs from laptops or store bought PCs are not (i think).
