ok, so heres a quick one. i know its probs stupid but thought i would ask, would it be possible/legal to dual boot a pc with 2 installations of windows 7 but using the same license key? as the hardware is the same and only one version would be running at any time. cheers.

It is possible and probably legal on the same machine but using only one installation at a time. It is not legal if you are using a VM with one install running within another.

basically someone i know plays FSX a lot, and has just bought 2 raptors to RAID0 but they dont want anything else running on that drive, so they want to use the RAID0 for win7 and FSX, then have another drive with win7 and everything else. but obvs, dont want to buy another license if it is ok to just use the same one.
