Just a quickie- are there any good places online to get some wipers? I saw a site mentioned recently but can't remember which one people said was good. wiperblades.co.uk is one I've found so far, they any good?

Managed to split one a tiny bit yesterday yanking it off a frozen screen :o and can't see a chance for me to get some anywhere other than a 24hr supermarket :(

Just use the tool on the website mate. It's gives you the correct size etc and will have the spoiler option if required on that particular side.

Avoid Bosch though. I purchased some new Bosch Aerotwin blades a few weeks ago and they are already leaving streaks.
I knew I should have bought the Valeo ones but they are out of stock for my car.

Edit: I also found Champion blades to be pretty useless.

Hmm... It lists both with and without, I've always had blades with them in the past. I'll go for ones with a drivers side spoiler, only an extra few quid. Thanks.

Wiperblades.co.uk are very good. Well packaged, fast delivery and good prices.

Deffo agree, as a side I got some aerotwins a few months ago from there and can not recommend them highly enough - still performing very well indeed!

Well I went for the True Part ones in the end, not because I'm a cheapskate but because of the Auto Express recommendation..... plus they worked out at £13 inc. delivery for all three :D

Ive used Bosch for the last 4 years without problem, my current set have been on for ages now, cant remember how long exactly but it was before the summer last year.

I've read many comments on here and other forums about Bosch wipers performing badly after a short period of time but I thought the new Aerotwin blades might be different.

I do 100-130 miles a day in my 306 and as I said they are already leaving streaks on the screen after a few weeks of use.

Do you find the passenger side one doesn't fit correctly? As in the beside the edge of the window, the blade doesn't come into contact with the window until about 20cm up :o

I'd try some sort of cleaning fluid on the window, had mine on for a few weeks and going strong :)

Indeed, the passenger side has quite a large area where the blade makes no contact with the window as well as a small section in the lower right hand corner of the drivers side.
Still not a bad set of blades but I'll go with Valeo next time.

Cheers for clearing that up, wasn't sure if it was just my car :o It'll be interesting how Valeo compares, I look forward to knowing how you get on when/if you replace the Aerotwin's :)

Same here. A patch where the tax disc is and the bottom 20% of the drivers side doesn't have a strong contact with the window. Strong enough to shift water bt when you clean a salty screen you often get streaks in that area.
