Quick x360 question

... and a daft one at that.... that I'm sure I did know the answer to.
BUT: Is the x360 region free, the games in particular?

(mate is off to the states, might wanna grab one for me)

some games are but theres a limited amount if i remember rightly

IIRC most are region free. MS left it to the developers to decide if they wanted region encoding on the game. There are a few websites which document which are and which are not.

DVDs are region locked though

Some are, some aren't. It's down to the developers to incorporate the region encoding.
