Hi

Could someone confirm that this build will work without any problems?

Msi gaming 7 x99a
Intel cpus 5820k
Samsung 950 pro m.2
2x 980ti

Yes that looks fine. And some quad DDR4 sticks.

Bear in mind that 5820k has 28 lanes. And 2x 16 = 32. So you can do a proper Nvidia SLI with it, it just will have to be at x8 + x8, or x16 + x8 speeds. It should not affect the performance enough to be anything to worry about though.

Just be aware that the ETA on the Samsung 950 Pro is 30th October. If you need something similar then look at the Samsung SM951 NVMe.

Do you have a cpu cooler ? As you don't get a stock one with X99.

I have always found Powerline adapters to be more reliable than wireless network cards.

I've got time so I'm slowly ordering parts. So far I've bought phanteks evolv atx and win 10 ☺.

For CPU cooling I will use corsair h110i GT or something similar. Is there something better for up to 150 pounds?

I would like to stick to internal wireless card but I'm unsure if that will be a good choice for my rig (msi gaming 7+5820k+980ti sli+ Samsung 950 pro m.2).
