Quick Xbox question

I don't need my xbox any more, I finished The Ballad of Gay Tony today and I wouldn't be surprised if thats the last game I ever play, I think I've outgrown them.

Anyway, I have both the Lost and Damned and TBOGT on my hard drive (I downloaded them both before they came out on disk) and I was wondering if I sell it will I be able to sell it with them games on or am I risking my card details somehow with that xbox live account?

Once its signed in you dont have to reenter debit card details so obvioulsy I dont wanna be givin them away with my xbox.

How can you out grow an XBox ?, im in my mid 40's and cant ever imagine out growing it ?

Anyway to you question :), aren't downloaded games tied to your XBox user name and subscription ?, i suppose if you were selling it to some one you know you could cancel your credit card details and let them carry on with your XBox live subscription ... but id check first to see if that's against MS terms and conditions first.

yeah thats what I mean, can I just remove the debit card details from the account? If so then I'll just put a generic email and home address, password as password and sell it all in one, not too arsed about whether MS would kick off about it, doubt they'd catch on much.

Anyway, I'm only 23 and I was never that much of a gamer, played Pro Evo with my mates and the GTAs but never really much more than that. I was best man at my mate's wedding not that long ago (he's a bit more of a geek than me) and his sister in law's boyfriend asked me if I had a 360, I said yeah and he said that he played loads, he got to number 1 in the country and number 12 in the world at this one game, cant remember what it was but I dont think it was like COD or something. Anyway, he said that took a lot of gaming, a lot of gaming.

It just made me think, playing video games might not rot your brain the way people say it does, but you never achieve anything, I like my hobbies and whatnot to accomplish things, even if you're 40 odd and dont have a lot of time, playing 5 aside once a week instead of gaming would accomplish a lot more, sitting still and flicking joy pads 2 cm either way doesn't really do anything for me anymore. I'd just rather do exercise and something that in 10 years or something, will still count for something, not even that guy at that wedding will give a toss in 2 years let alone 10 that he even played that game.

Plus its so expensive, I bought Xbox last June and only cancelled my Live subscription about 2 months ago, I only ever went online about 5 times.
 
If you downloaded the DLC to that console, then it will have a licence for anyone who uses the console to play that DLC.

So you can leave the DLC on there, delete your profile (choosing profile only NOT profile + items) from the memory area of system settings and whoever comes along next will be able to create a new gamertag and play that DLC. You can go in manually and delete any game saves if you like.

They won't have any access to your details or be able to recover your gamertag. That DLC will remain, active, until you either transfer the licenses to another Xbox using the web license transfer tool or they format the HDD.

I personally play games for the enjoyment, not to try and achieve anything. I would imagine everyone else would say the same.

Cheers mate thanks, that means I can try and get another 10er or so for it, for all I've said about video games and things, the whole of GTA4 has been awesome, hilarious story lines, good soundtrack and the missions were alright too.

And Davey, I appreciate what you're saying, but I feel as though I can get the same level of enjoyment from something that also achieves something, even if its only playing the guitar or piano.

Each to their own dude, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things :)
