Seems like a very silly and simple request, if I was using outlook I know I could use the windows 'Email these pics' button which automatically shrinks them and attaches them, but I'm not.

I need to send about 10 or more pics that currently total 30 megs.

Quickest and easiest way to reduce the file size as a batch so they total 5-10 megs?

Nah, I need to just batch reduce the size a load of files. There's got to be a simple way of doing it. I know 10 or 20 or whatever I have is not a lot and I can do it manually tonight if need be but it would be good to know if there's a way to do this to batches of pics.

They need to be emailed to somone who's computer system is locked down so I don't know if they can open zip files. I already tried uploading them to my server and providing direct file links in the email but they said they couldn't access them.

Are you using xp or win 7?

Just download the image resizer tool and off you go.

Or just highlight all the images -right click - sent to - mail and reduce them in there.

google is your friend..

batch convert jpg to png.

multiple convert jpg to png.

I'd go png but depends what they're used for.
