Quickest way to humanely kill a small fish ?

I don't think fish can become muslims, sorry dude. Great second post though, nice to see the forum attracting such quality people here.
 
lol @ all these suggestions. A neon tetra is a 1 or maybe 2cm sized fish, a brick is a bit of an overkill. 2 easy ways;

1) Take out of tank with a net, place on a plastic bag, fold plastic bag over fish, hit it with a handle of a knife of some sort

2) Take some tank water out put it in an old jug, add a few drops of clove oil, but make sure you mix it well, else the clove oil will just float, about 10 drops to 200ml of water will put it to sleep and also Overdose the small fish and kill it in its 'sleep' as such

Clove oil stinks though

The clove oil and vodka seems the most humane. Either that or lightly battered with chips and mushy peas.
 
About half an hour ago one of my fish played dead AGAIN! They do this some times to escape the tank and get out to the big wide sea! Clever little things and i allways go along with it, but i do miss them when they are gone.


Hope he doesnt get eaten by a shark.
