Quickest way to humanely kill a small fish ?

The longer you are faffing about how to kill it, the longer it's suffering anyway, so choose a method already! (then post the pictures here... with bread).

Apparently if you play loud music in his face they dies instantly due to the sound waves sending shocks to the brain.... Maybe try that? Its quick, easy and painless. :)

Quality, the most humane method, as it would also kill all of his fellow fish.
Who would obviously be distressed in their own right to know tetrie has died.

Murderer!!

*Parades around with sign on a stick*

*Calls PETA*

:P
PETA are ridiculous! Do you know what sort of things they stand for? They beleive no animals should be kept in captivity, that means no pets no zoo's etc. this means a lot of animals would be extinct, and no food from animals. They spend less than one percent of their budget on caring for animals.

"PETA puts to death over 90 percent of the animals it accepts from members of the public who expect the group to make a reasonable attempt to find them adoptive homes." - http://www.consumerfreedom.com/article_detail.cfm/article/134

Even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we'd be against it. — Ingrid Newkirk, PETA President

As title, I have a very sick neon tetra and am thinking ill put it out its misery, its swollen belly, eyes poping out its head, gasping, its been like this for a week (iv tried to treat it with medicines in a quarantine tank), but its just stayed the same, its also lost nearly all of its colour.

Want to make its death as instant as poss, the only thing I can think of without to much mess is cut its head off with a sharp knife in one quick cut :(

Could take a brick and squash it outside I guess, but heavy object / stick seems more suitable to large fish, this things tiny. Wanna make it have an instant death if possible.

Any other ways ?

If it's a Muslim fish you will probably be able to claim for housing benefit & Invalidity benefit for the rest of YOUR life, regardless of how you kill the fish.
