At work there is a notice saying they need extra staff for openings of several new stores in spain (madrid area) and it says that you either need to know basic spanish or be willing to learn. The date I need to apply by is the 21st so i'll need to start learning now, what would be the best way to learn as the one I'll apply for starts in june! I was thinking GCSE revision books.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Try everything! Tapes/CDs from the library, listen to them a little when awake then try it when you're sleeping. Watch some online videos (bount to be some free ones on youtube).

The best way of learning is how you learn best, try most methods and see what sticks.

Revision books, like you said... travel phrase books?

¡Que tengas suerte!

Thanks for replying. I'm getting an audio CD (Learn Spanish... with Michel Thomas) at the moment.

I guess the most imporant phrase I need to know is how to say "a beer please".
