currently on 4, have a bit more cash now, want 20(50)

fastest way to get upgraded?

2nd question, whats the fastest internet speed my WRT54G can handle? (in cabled, not wireless mode)
 
Not sure on the router. I have the 54GL and its amazing, my friend has the same and is easily maxing his 20mb connection.

Best way is do it via online in my experience. The two times i have phoned to do it they have mucked it up, resulting it 4-5 phone calls to finally get my upgraded speed.
 
speedtest.net results inconclusive at the moment

i'll run it again tonight at 11pm with just modem, and then through router..

hoping this can cut the mustard :)
