Quickie: p45

Hi,

Need a p45 board to clock a e6400 with a 4850 and 2-4gb ram.
Dont particularly need any fancy stuff.
Looking at the gigabyte boards and the asus boards in the 80-100 quid bracket. Like the look of the heat pipe on the gigabyte boards.

Any recommendations?

I got a DS5 gigabyte and it has been completely rock solid not had a single issue with it yet so i am biased and say go with the gigbyte's

I think most people will recommend the Asus P5Q series, and rightly so, they are very good boards.

Just got the P5Q Deluxe - granted its a little over budget, but it has so far been very stable and clocks really well. From reading around, it seems other boards in the series are equally as good, and i would recommend them.

I have a X38 based DS5, I've been very happy with it and would buy Gigabyte again.
