Quickshifter test video... Making a GSXR 1000 sing.

thats awesome, it's not the clutchless aspect that gets me (do it anyways), but not letting off throttle.... adds a lot to full on accel for sure
 
Quickshift is definitely going on my next bike.

mate said it is possible to do it on a carbed bike but would usually spit a flame out as carbs would still pump fuel in. Is that right?
 
Quickshifters are overrated if you can change gear quickly as you don't ever need to touch the clutch without a quickshifter anyway - except feathering the clutch when downshifting which you'd need to with a quickshifter fitted. You just roll the throttle shut shut after you#ve loaded the lever and it slots straight in. I was expecting the quickshifter I had fitted to knock half a second off the laptimes. Didn't though. :o

They'd be of more use on a road bike though just to make it one less thing to worry about i guess. :confused:

I like that QS, but I dont use the clutch on my gixxer much unless around town, do like for longer journeys and spirited runs though.
Some good vids there mate, liked the cat and fiddle run, nice and smooth skillz :D
