quicky question, downgrading bios version

just do that the same as moving to a new version. it writes over the existing version fully, so no probs downgrading?

Depends how you do it. Using a Windows-based program usually fails to allow it to happen. Using Alt-f2 where this is an option usually leaves part of the original BIOS in place. An old-fashioned boot floppy should work though.
