Just finished work and I receive an email from Quidco.

Something a long the lines of...we've sent you £3.00 to your nominated bank or paypal account...please allow 3 working days to clear.

I created a Quidco account last year, but I know I've never used it to purchase anything. I rarely buy online if ever.

I was just intrigued if it's a some form of scam email (there is a link which says I can check my account) or whether Quidco are feeling generous and sent me money to have a pint on them.

Happen to anyone else?

Edit - Just checked and it is there. It says £3 cashback from in store purchase in H.Samuel?

I don't recall purchasing anything from there. I thought Quidco was for online only?

Edit 2 - Yes I did. Small present for the partner. I've just finished a 12 hour night shift...clearly I'm not firing on all cylinders. I'm going to shut the curtains and sleep. I apologise GD and world. Good night.

Fail thread of the year.

If you add your debit card, use it in supporting stores you can get cashback that way. Normally only a very small % though.
