Just signed up, ordered a phone by clicking the link and doing my shopping as normal.

Then realised I'd not added my payment details so added them, but not had any emails through or anything added to my account (not even like a pending thing).

Just wondering have I screwed up somewhere (was in a pretty big rush to get order done before 4pm for next day delivery) or does it just take a while for anything to happen?

First time I've used them.

Cheers

Can take anywhere from a few hours, to a few days to track.

I use TopCashBack, as you don't get charged the £5 annual fee

Payment details can be added later no problems.

It will likely be a few months before you get the cash, but each merchants page will show a rough time-scale.

Cheers lads, was worried I'd done something wrong.

It was an instant cashback jobbie as well which got me thinking why nothing had appeared.

Nah, it usually takes a while. Best way to do it is to clear your cookies before hand, click the referral link to the website you want to purchase from, sign in and order, sign out and then close the tab. That hasn't failed me yet though as others have pointed out - it sometimes takes a while.

I am still awaiting payment after 4 months from mobiles.co.uk. However on thier Quidco profile it says the average is 1 month.

Lucky me :p

Still waiting for an £80 cashback on some pet insurance from Sainsbury's.
Been waiting nearly 4 months now - can start chasing it at the end of the month.

Good move. That is a massive 1.3 pence per day saving!

Depends how you use the service. Yes, mathematically it works out at 1.3p a day, but I usually leave the cashback build up for 13 months (November - Christmas the following year) so in that respect, I'm saving £10 (2x annual £5 charges).

I do use Quidco too, but I find myself using TCB more during the festive season because of their "Top up" scheme. Frequently getting 110% cashback because of all the presents I order. Actually got £100 for switching my energy supplier this year, so that's £146 toward next year already.

Quidco are known to defraud people this way be careful.

I think quidco make a massive saving by people not putting in a ticket soon enough to query the transaction. I've missed out on quite a bit just by simply buying something through quidco then forgetting about it.

My mobiles.co.uk transaction from August never even tracked. Had to wait, file a query, wait some more, have the query forwarded to mobiles, wait another 80 days. Supposedly I'll have a response either way by 6th Dec.

Then I'll have to decide who to sue! :p

The golden rule is: Cashback is not guaranteed.

I use Topcashback most of the time, unless Quidco happens to offer a much better rate (very rare).

I'm annoyed I forgot about a 10% cashback on Logitech's site yesterday :(

Topcashback will rate match, you can submit a form and they update your rate.

Quidco is only used if the merchant is not on TopCashback at all.
