I'm looking at this offer with SKY:

In the title it's just that, but when I click details it actually says:

Does this mean I would have to get SKY TV in order to receive any sort of cash back as well? Because on the website I can get half-price Broadband for 6 months without taking SKY TV.

Yes you would.

Good amount of cashback.

I had £75 for a new phone contract I took out in September paid today. :D

be very careful about this company. While i accept that they "usually" pay out, I had a pretty bad experience (n=1) out of the few dealings with them. Took out insurance via them, since the insurance + cashback would be far cheaper than similar product.

They didnt pay out. After chasing them for over a year (and the said insurance expired) they said that they rely on the original company honoring the cashback and that if they didnt, there was nothing they could do. So I ended up about £80 worse off, since i would have bought the other product if i had known.

So there you have it, my bad experience with them. They did pay out my other purchases, but some took months to arrive and needed constant emails. Never used them again since.

In my experience, it's best not to factor Quidco into a decision. It's nice if it comes in, but it may not work out and you'll end up paying full whack. Don't assume you'll get the cashback.

I've had over £150 cash back so far in the last 6 months, £60 from the AA, £80 from phone and a few bits.

Generally I don't use it because i know Amazon isn't on it and I get most of my stuff from Amazon but for certain things i do go through Quidco, like you said, bonus if it pays off right?

Bumping this rather than making a brand new thread.

I pretty much bought all my Christmas gifts via Quidco, but none of them have appeared on my account. I would go to Quidco's site, find the retailer's site that I wanted and then purchase as normal. Am I doing it wrong?

(My profile and settings are 100% complete)

Did you receive any emails saying the purchase was being tracked?

I bought a new mobile a few days ago and received the email one or two days later.

If you use adblockers, cookie cleaners etc it can cause problems like that. Personally I use a completely separate browser for Quidco/TCB (Chrome) so it's less likely things will go wrong.

What do you expect them to do if the third party won't pay out? I've used quidco for years and have saved a couple of thousand pounds, so I'd highly recommend them.

A couple years ago I purchased O2 broadband at £10 a month with 2 months free and £100 cashback...free internet for the year :D

Did you clear your cookies before ordering?
It can also take a while to track, never had any problems through quidco though.

Ive used Quidco for three years and got paid on almost £900 of cashback.

Most of the time non payment is down to user error to do with cookies. Always best to use FireFox and not IE and always make sure if you have been to the providers website already that you delete the cookies before going to it again through Quidco. Simples really.

I tend to fire up IE purely to log into Quidco and visit a retailer's site once I've already figured out what I want by browsing from my usual browser (Firefox)

It's quite useful for going away with work - we're encouraged to use LateRooms to find hotels, and that then gives a 5% cashback - useful when booking hotel rooms at ~£70 per night for 4 nights for 3 people ;)

I always use Quidco for online purchases and never have an issue with tracking. I always start up a new private browsing window to ensure that the tracking works right and no other cookies can possibly cause confusion.
