Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice. I have an NZXT H1 I'm about to build in and have had a custom back 3D printed for it which accommodates 2 140mm fans.

Currently looking at the Noctua NF-A14 and be quiet! Silent Wings 3 but wondered if anyone had any experience of either, or both, or another recommend.

My primary need is quiet operation as I feel two of these pulling air out of such a small case will be plenty of additional airflow even at low RPMs.

Silent Wings 3 opens NF-A14, so don't know which one you are considering. I would get be quiet! Silent Wings 3 140mm high speed PWM. My logic is even though I wouldn't or extremely rarely need 1400-1600rpm, I do need 1100rpm occasionally, sometimes even 1200rpm maybe even 1300rpm in hot weather with dirty filters, etc. I don't think 1000rpm model will spin fast enough to deliver needed air on those rare occasions I need 100-200rpm higher speeds to keep thing nice and cool.

I've been happy with the Arctic cooling bionic p14

Silent up to around 1100rpm which is when you start to hear the sound be of moving air.

Usually have 2 running at 900rpm until gaming and they shift a good amount of air

I have silent wings 3 fans and some of these Artic in different pc's and I would say go for the artic because they cost way less get a value pack of 5 fans for £35 delivered, they perform better, just don't look as fancy or come all boxed up nice. the p14 can also all be dasiy chained so you only need 1 motherboard pwm header
