I'm looking for a new gpu for my htpc/gaming rig. Needs to be as quiet as possible while doing htpc stuff.

Which coolers are best rated for their quietness? DirectCU II? TwinFozr? Vapor-X?
 
As far as I know, the very best of the bunch are the DirectCU II, Windforce and HIS IceQ coolers. I have a windforce cooler on my card and it's very, very quiet.
 
Most cards are pretty silent when just watching video. I'd recommend the Asus 7970 DCII (assuming the rest of your PC is up to it) - I had this and it was extremely quiet even when gaming.
