Hi, more and more i find my pc becoming a home media solution, which is where the constant noise of the case fans are becoming annoying (antec 900) and as lovely as the antec 1200 is i expect its not getting any quieter

Anyone recomend a decent low noise case? (must be full ATX etc)

Thanks

What fans are you running? Whilst there's no denying that some cases are quieter than others, you can often make a bigger impact by fitting quiet fans, and damping your hard drives.

the case has 3 90mm fans which are all on low and a 120mm fan which is also on low, the cpu cooler has a fan mounted on the heatsink and there is the fan on my ati 5870 spinning aswell, its on the lowest settings possible and still drowns out most things

I also found that my graphics card was the noisiest component in my case by a long way. I now have an after market cooler on there which greatly reduces noise and temps. What psu do you have?

If you are looking for a low noise case then you are really looking at either a Fractal Designs Define R2 or Antec P183 series. Whichever you prefer. Low noise fans will help too and a passive graphics card/aftermark cooler.

I would recommend the coolermaster HAF 932, the fans are big but low rpm, so they are quiet but at the same time shift a lot of air, and you have 3 of them :D,
I have one myself and its a very high quality case with plenty of room/airflow
23cm Top fan
23cm Side fan
23cm Front fan
and
A 14cm Rear fan
