Quiet cases (ATX)

i was going to get a Fractal Design XL however currently OCUK are out of stock.

so i thought i would look around,

I want a case that looks minimalist. fits long graphics cards
Is near silent & has good cooling

suggestions?

Hi! Had the same problem a while ago, Fractal Design XL was interesting but after reading more stuff about it I chose Antec P280. Same looks and style, but quieter.

hdd bays are in front of the fans though

Fractal R3? Or do you want the size of the XL?

preferably i like the section design of the XL but mainly because the intake fan is not stopped by HDD's

& somthing OCUK has in there stock

Fractal R4? Removable HDD cage. Max gpu length 11.6 / 295mm. Noise dampened.

As OCUK is out of stick, why not go else where for it?

I shopped about and bought my Define XL for a tad under £100 delivered.

Antec P280.

The closest to the Define XL (internally) is the Antec P193 v3.

It was my 2nd choice.

P280.. 5 in stock atm

I dont have any intake fans installed and doing just fine- and quiet- with 3750K + Radeon7950+ 2x HDD combination. Never thought I'd be getting an Antec case and be happy about it, but ..

HWMonitor showing 53c max temps for cpu and 66c for gpu when playing bf3 on a big map. Using Thermalright macho HR-02 with one 140mm fan and all 3 case fans are on "low" settings too. When I got the case even bought couple of 120mm Gentle Typhoons but didnt even bother to install them- no need.
