Quiet cooling

One of my fans is making a weird ticking noise, so I think it is a good excuse time to look at fitting quieter fans.

I am looking for 6 fans and a controller. They don't have to be mega quiet, I have a custom loop with a 360 rad for my CPU so will just keep them low/off when not gaming.

Are the Gentle Typhoons still considered the best buy? Will I be able to get a 6 channel controller that I can control over USB rather than having to reach ALL the way to the tower when I switch tasks?

I use Noctua fans and these have a nice balance for me, only tried Corsair SP fans and Coolermaster blade, which for the money i cant fault, only paid £7 for 3 brand new ones on offer at the time, only thing is at full RPM they are loud like the Corsair SP fans, but the noctua are do the same job only quieter to silent, id not bother with push pull unless you looking to break records its not worth the money for 0 to 2c difference

Enermax TB Silence, best silent fans ever. I have 18 in my build (17 120s and 1 140, of the sub 1k rpm type) and can only hear then when I put my ear to the case.
