Hey guys,

Im wanting to replace the stock fans on my CM690 case as theyre old now and not so quiet anymore,I dont know which fans are quiet so thats where im hoping you guys can help with ones you have brought previusly and know theyre quiet.

Il be needing 4 of them 120mm,Quiet but good airflow and dont cost loads.

appreciate the responce. ;)

BitFenix Spectre 120mm Fan.

No experience with them, but if they run anywhere near to spec, they should be prety descent.

If you shop about you can get them for ~ £4 - £5.

Ive been using Scythe Gentle Typhoons, the 900rpm ones.
They're something like 9db @900 rpm.

Control them with a Scythe Kaze Server fan controller so they're only on when needed.

Running a watercooling loop and have 3 on rads and 3 as intake fans, I never hear them start up or stop, the only thing I can hear is my PSU fan.

Cant get them from OcUK though, a quick google dosen't come up with them so they may have been replaced by the 1150 rpm model.

edit, I will also add that im running an i5 @ stock speeds and a GTX 260 on my loop, I have a Thermochill 240 rad and a thin 120 rad, under normal pc usage (no gaming) the only fan running is just 1 fan on the 240 rad, thats connected to the CPU socket and thats sufficient to keep the loop under 32 degrees.

I've got three of the Apaches running off a PWM splitter so they're speed controlled by the computer, the other one is plugged into a straight power connector so runs full pelt all the time. The loudest thing in my computer by far is the PSU fan.
