Quiet laptop advice

Look to change my wifes old macbook pro for something new.

must be silent for recording. Needs to be used to record audio for youtube content but must be totaly silent whilst recording (macbook pro is). when gaming aound doesn’t matter.

want it to be able to play some light games nothing serious.

was looking at this just not sure how noisy under minemal loads it is.

Sounds like M1 Macbook air to be honest... Though the gaming options and performance would be much greater on a gaming (windows) laptop it's unlikely to be silent, not many are. Though if you go for a non gaming laptop you might have some joy.

Gaming laptops tend to have more pro active cooling and though I like some of them, if you don't want to play games beyond light I wouldn't look at them.

ive had enough of asking apple permission to open the web brower and do what she wants.
