Want to build a fairly Quiet PC, these are what I have in Mind..

Asus P5LD2 Revision 2.0
Core 2 Duo E6600
1-2GB DDR2 667
WD Raptor 74GB
Seagate 7200.9 250GB SATA
Hitachi 7K400 SATA
Radeon X1800XT fitted with VF900 Cooler
Audigy 2 ZS
Terratec PCI-E x 1 TV Tuner
PCI Capture Card
Scythe Kaze Jyu 100mm Fan (fits 92mm fan holes)
S-FLEX 120mm Fan (800 RPM, SFF21D)
Scythe Quiet Drive Internal HDD Silencer
Ninja-PLUS Rev B Heatpipe Cooler
Antec Solo with 550W NeoHE PSU

3 * Hard Drives, Two in Antec HD Bay using Rubber Mounts, WD Raptor in Scythe HD Silencer in uppermost CD Rom Bay with Mesh Intake Mod for Top 2 5 1/4 bay

Radeon X1800XT fitted with Zalman VF900 at 7v
2* Scythe 92mm intake fans rated at 14db/29CFM

So what do you think, anything you would add/remove/change?.., have all components, apart from case/heatink/fans/psu/CPU/HDD Cooler, so those are the things i could change...
 
think that will be about as quiet as your going to get it :) loooks very nice - only thing is the PSU - you know much about it ? only product there i dont know about but assuming it is quiet then i think thats going to be a very silent system... only thing you are likley to hear above a very quiet gentle hum is the chug of the harddrives everynow and then - if any of those drives do that loud anyway! tell us how each component does when you put it all together would be very nice to see

also the case - if you really want quiet then maybe an antec p180 ? those dampen noise a fair bit. but really theres nothing front with a solo also - just go for what you can afford and like i suppose
