Hi guys,

I've got a HDD server (simple old mini itx Athlon X3 rig) sat in my living room but the PSU I've got in it at the moment is really loud. It's a cheapo unbranded thing I was given that I slapped in as a 'good enough for now'. I've considered just swapping the fan out but it'd probably be better to swap it out.

I don't need a lot of power as it literally just runs 4 HDDs and powers 2 USB ports (printers) so it'll never be under any great load.

What'd be a good, quiet PSU to use?

Thanks :)

I have a Seasonic G 550 in a HTPC. It's dead silent so much I wonder if the fan is even spinning.

Personally I would look at lower wattage versions of these.
