quiet PSU

The L8 is very good, I own the 630W version. They are very quiet those silent wing fans. The coolermaster silent Pro I have used and they are dead quiet too, they come with rubber strips to absorb vibration.....pity OCuk don't stock the 500W version anymore, the 600W is OTT for your needs and budget I suppose.

The XFX uses seasonic internals, so they are a good PSU. I've used the Corsair builder 430W for office machines using just the IGP, I wouldn't call it loud at all to be fair

so you reckon the XFX will be really quiet in the lounge ATM im using this psu and will go and run quick db test on phone.

I used the the Corsair a couple time and not found it loud at all.

What are the specs of the system?

I've never managed to get one mate lol Every time i've ordered one (and paid for it) I got an email saying there was a stock error and it was out of stock. So I always took the corsair builder as an alternative. Honestly the corsair isn't loud at all and is certainly much better quality than the tat that came with that case ;)

Celeron G540
4GB 2 X 2Gb sticks can't remember brand DDR3 RAM
OCZ agility 3 SSD
1 X 1TB HDD
1 X 320GB HDD
Asus P8H77-I
DVD RW
Cooler Master Advance 120 elite Case
Cooler Master GeminII M4 cpu cooler

PSU usage is around 161W I believe at 90% load.

I have the same CPU in my spare system and used this the other week to watch a 1080p MKV movie without issue. I usually use my ACRyan but this at my parents.
 
Just ordered the be quiet l8 430w modular and a be quiet silent wings 120mm fan.

Hopefully it will be totally silent now. Only a 80mm fan that's stock in it now.
 
Shows out of stock, either there was a stock discrepancy or they did not ship your order in time - what time did you order?

if it is I might get them to swap the order to the XFX you recommended in your first post.

But on your head be it if its noisey
