whats the current quietest psu's out there?
Looking to get my pc that little bit quieter...

Cant really have a huge heatsink sticking out the back so that rules one out!

Wouldnt really need anymore than 450w but Im male so more power allways sounds good.

Budget is.... under discusion so more interested to know people views :) (more ammo!)

Seasonic consistently come out tops in the lab reports I've seen so I'd suggest you go with them, they aren't modular however and the 430w model is about £60 so not all that cheap either but they are quality.

price dosnt sound bad, modular would haelp with air flow mind.

Do they have temp controlled fan in that model?

The 330W Tagan PSU i've got over here is very quiet, its been put into a music editing computer so it needs to be!

Its not possible to hear the computer to check if its on or not, thats how quiet it is. There's only the PSU and an Arctic Cooler on the Sempron 3100+ along with a quiet Seagate HD.

The Enermax Liberty 400W is meant to be pretty quiet and isn't too expensive at £50. Plus it's modular which should help tidy up your case.
