Hi guys.

Not sure if you arer aware but the Antec Neo Eco C 450, 520 and 620w PSUs are some of the quiestest PSU's on the market.

The fan at full load only hits about 28 dBA, and at low load it only is around 12dBA. Most PSU fans generally go up to around 35-36dBA.

So Wad do ya want? A clap on the back? A pocket full of posies?

No thanks for the info really. Im after something quiet as im sure im getting tinitus

A genuinely handy feature. I remember about 15 years ago when I went out to my way to make sure my pc was the loudest it could be as some kind of direct representation of its awesomeness...these days I go out of my way to ensure its nice and quiet.

Do you have any links to any independent reviews regarding the noise levels? A quick look on google turns up a couple of reviews with quite different results (quiet at low load but very noisy above ~60% load), but the PSU shown looks quite different too. Perhaps an earlier, different Antec Neo PSU?

Don't see how it can be quieter than an 80PLUS Platinum PSU?

That doesn't make any sense.

The rating of the unit has nothing to do with the noise it produces.

If you want a really quiet psu, there are many with active fan control. With the seasonic G series and even the corsair RM series the fan doesn't come on until it's under a fair amount of load.
