Quiet Pump

Hi, I've got a thermaltake P500 pump and reservoir and its the loudest thing i have ever heard!!!!

any ideas on a really quiet pump + reservoir? (3/8 barbs)

can i change the voltage to quiet this beast down?

Help, its so loud is scaring me!!!!

Its running a CPU Cooler, GPU Cooler and chipset cooler all overclocked.

Any help would be appreciated

sorry i cant help but id advice to stay away from thermalfake water cooling parts

haha yeah, i have that too

i got my cooling free tho so meh

. i managed to stop some ov the noise by using silicon pads mounted between the bottom of the pump and the bottom of the case where the pump is bolted to... still its the loudest component in my pc

Know some people hang their pumps using elastic bands.

laing ddc pumps are pretty quiet

yep, i've chosen a laing ddc pump, and i'll try that, if its too loud i'll ebay it

i've bought damper pads as well so hopefully it'll cure the din!

i think you'll be keeping it

ive got a DDC Ultra with the alphacool plexitop, its the most powerful of the ddc pumps and i cant hear it over my fans
