Quiet, small i7 build - case recommendation sought

I may have found myself in the wrong place looking at all the modding that goes on here but I'm after some advice on building a quiet i7 920 rig. It's a transplant from a Dell 435mt I acquired which uses 92mm fans and is a bit too noisy for my liking. Ideally I want to stick with a small midi case, something like this Lian Li A05B is pretty attractive to me:

Is it possible to build a really quiet i7 system inside such a small case? Can I fit a big cooler in there and will the case fans be up to the job? Also, the existing motherboard only has one fan header for CPU (4 pin) and one for exhaust (3 pin) so will they be suitable or shall I budget for a new board?

I use the PC for general tasks, it's not overclocked and I'm no PC gamer. It's currently fitted with a passive ATI video card which generates a bit of heat. I've built many PCs in the past but I'm well out of touch these days (which is why I thought the Dell was a good idea!). Anyway, I'll be grateful for any advice on case choice. I don't want to buy blind in case I throw good money after bad.
